The USS Forrestal Ship Pen is a unique collectible gift that showcases America's first supercarrier, designed to support jet aircraft during WWII. This ship was affectionately named the FID (First in Defense) after the ship's namesake, the First Secretary of Defense. The redwood segmentations used in this pen were carefully sourced from a ladder in the officer's country.
